MICHEL ROEFFAERS - Spearheading Automotive Expansion
31st August 2021
Cobra Advanced Composites (CAC) has gone from strength to strength since its formation and first successful orders in 2006.
Michel Roeffaers became the division’s CEO in 2013, bringing a wealth of experience from the automotive manufacturing sector to COBRA. In the past, he’s worked with Audi, AVL and Lotus Engineering in Europe, as well as for the jet-ski manufacturer Benelli in both Europe and Thailand. His mission at CAC has been to transform and grow the business from a simple component producer into a supplier of increasingly integrated systems and assemblies and as a result COBRA now boasts one of the most state of the art finishing areas in the industry.
“Since 2013, the complexity of our products has increased massively. Back then, CAC was producing rather simple components which did not require intense testing to be performed by us. We have now evolved into a highly technical and reliable automotive supply partner which is also tailored for complex assemblies, with high levels of vertical manufacturing integration for both visual and structural components.”
