COBRA International’s Composite Drone Division to Exhibit with New Strategic Partners at XPONENTIAL Europe 2025
Chonburi, Thailand – February 7, 2025 – COBRA International's Composite Drone Division (CDD) is pleased to announce its participation in XPONENTIAL Europe 2025, scheduled from February 18 to 20 in Düsseldorf, Germany. XPONENTIAL provides a unique platform for COBRA to engage with UAV industry leaders, foster strategic partnerships, and demonstrate their commitment to shaping the future of strong, light and beautiful UAV and drone components. At booth E07, in Hall 1, COBRA will exhibit alongside three new partners:
CG TEC GmbH is a German company that will showcase a broad range of carbon and glass fiber composite profiles, including tubes, rods, and plates, utilizing advanced techniques such as prepreg winding and pultrusion at the XPONENTIAL show. CG TEC GmbH and CDD have already collaborated on existing UAV projects leveraging CDD’s large-scale production set up combined with niche raw materials delivered by CG TEC.
Dutch firm Scabro Innovations B.V. offers rapid, state-of-the-art prototyping, tooling, and series production for lightweight composite UAVs and their components. CDD and Scabro now work together with CDD providing additional manufacturing resources for larger programs. Scabro will display a series of EVO wings at Dusseldorf.
RV Connex Co., Ltd is a Thai corporation operating in the defense and security sector, providing comprehensive services including research and development, advanced aerospace composite manufacturing, and system design and integration. RV Connex will display scale models of their Sky Scout Tactical UAS, Red Kite Surveillance UAS and JRV-01 Target Drone on the COBRA booth.
COBRA and CDD will also exhibit several UAV parts in Dusseldorf, highlighting the range of materials and processing techniques that they can use in UAV part production. Visitors can see a wing section from a 5.5m wingspan Swiftlet UAV platform. This compact tactical fixed wing UAV platform was developed by the Royal Thai Air Force and National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) for a broad range of survey, monitoring and search and rescue (SAR) operations. In addition, the CDD team will also exhibit the airframe from a VETAL drone, a twin rotor vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) platform manufactured by COBRA for an Asian client.
“These new strategic partnerships underscore Cobra's commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable composite solutions tailored to the evolving requirements of our customers in the drone and UAV sectors,” said Danu Chotikapanich, CEO, COBRA. “By leveraging the unique expertise of each partner, COBRA aims to enhance its aerospace product offerings and foster wider global innovation within the European UAV marketspace.”
