COBRA TO SPONSOR COMPOSITES IN ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION CONFERENCE AT COMPOSITES ASIA 2018

11th July 2018

COBRA International, Chonburi, Thailand: COBRA International Co. Ltd. (COBRA), the leading manufacturer of premium Windsurf, SUP, Kite and Surf boards, and a global supplier of composites for the Architectural, Automotive, Transportation and Luxury Accessories markets will be sponsoring Composites Asia 2018 in Bangkok next week. The event is co-organized by the Thai Composites Association (TCA) and the JEC Group.

The international composites conference that is in its third successful year, will focus on composites within Construction and Architecture and will be held at a number of venues in Bangkok. A packed agenda on the 18th and 19th July will feature keynote speeches from Architects, including highly respected local architect Duangrit Bunnag, Civil Engineers and Composite Material suppliers.

In addition to 18 different speakers attending from all corners of the globe, a wide range of composite engineers and suppliers of composite materials that are specifically formulated and optimised to address sustainable construction practices, will also be exhibiting.

The COBRA Composite Structures (CCS) team will also be on hand at the conference. CCS was launched last year in response to strong customer demand for COBRA’s product development expertise, production efficiency and quality focus that are to be applied to large structural composite parts such as roofs, facades, bridges and large vehicle components for rail, bus and truck applications. With lightweight advanced composites delivering design freedom and faster installation in architecture as well as providing fuel savings and efficiency gains in transport applications, COBRA is the perfect partner to support customers from initial design concept through to finished composite structure.

Operating from dedicated facilities at COBRA’s 100,000m2 state of the art facilities in Thailand, CCS are already working on a number of significant orders including a free-standing installation commissioned by the American Institute of Architects to sit on the Hong Kong waterfront and a specialist vehicle project to support airport ground operations.
