Precision, Performance, and Reliability: Cobra International Unveils Latest Composite Innovations at JEC World 2025
20th February 2025
Cobra International will showcase the ultimate in high-performance composite solutions at the 60th Anniversary of the world's largest composite event. Exhibiting in Paris, from March 4-6, Cobra will display a broad range of products manufactured for automotive OEMs, market leading water sports brands and industrial partners.
Cobra Advanced Composites (CAC), Cobra’s automotive business unit, has supplied carbon fibre parts to the automotive sector since 2006. At JEC, the company will highlight the progressive increase in complexity of the composite parts it develops and manufactures by displaying a fully assembled Front End from a leading premium German OEM. The Front End consists of a crashworthy, body-coloured and visual carbon fibre bonnet, as well as flared and vented carbon fibre fenders. In addition, the autoclaved carbon front bonnet and fender set , will also be on display on the JEC Mobility Planet, waiting for your closer inspection.
Cobra will also showcase its wide technology focus for water sports composites by presenting a portfolio of products including a Flite and Marc Newson special edition prepreg eFoil board, a new wing foiling hydrofoil developed for a premium European brand, a novel carbon-look wing foil board that folds for easy travel, a carbon fibre rowing boat fin and a bio-composite surfboard Cobra has created, on the Cobra booth – Hall 6, booth F29.
UAV composite end-users will be able to view a scale model of a fixed wing drone developed by Composite Drone Division (CDD), Cobra’s in-house drone and UAV specialist team, that details the different airframe and wing construction techniques that CDD can supply depending on the aircraft’s performance and operating requirements.
Visitors to the Cobra booth – Hall 6, booth F29 – will also be able to see the 2025 JEC Innovation Award winning recyclable carbon fibre furniture that won Cobra an award in the Design, Furniture & Home category. The Loop bar stool will be on the Cobra stand, whilst the Liana meeting table will be on display in the Discover Composites exhibition, at the entrance of Hall 6, that features the latest architectural and design innovations.
Finally, Cobra will also provide an update on the Elysium carbon fibre ankle and foot orthosis it has developed for the Asian market. Cobra has taken over the manufacturing and assembly of the entire orthosis including pads and attachment straps, providing a one-stop shop for serial production.
“Cobra International has always been at the forefront of composite technology, and JEC World is the perfect stage to highlight our commitment to innovation and production excellence. As we celebrate 60 years of this iconic event, we look forward to demonstrating how our high-performance solutions support industries from automotive and water sports to UAVs and industrial applications. All the pieces we will display in Paris highlight the precision, performance and reliability that the Cobra team bring to every project,” said Danu Chotikapanich, CEO, Cobra International.
