About Cobra

We’re looking for a Foiling Specialist to lead the development and delivery of carbon fiber foil components for premium OEMs in the watersports sector. This role covers the full lifecycle—from design and testing to production inputs and customer support—and plays a key part in strengthening Cobra’s position as a specialist foil builder.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the growth of Cobra’s foiling business (Technical 80%) and provide strategic feedback to management (Commercial 20%)
  • Manage OEM customer accounts and serve as Cobra’s external representative
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize foil production and explore future upgrades
  • Build deep understanding of customer brands, market positioning, and competitive landscape
  • Maintain proactive communication with designers, engineers, and team riders
  • Participate in trade shows, customer visits, and industry events
  • Mentor and guide internal team members across departments

What You Bring

  • Hands-on experience in eFoils, wingfoiling, or foiling windsurf/surfing
  • Strong knowledge of composites materials and processes
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, marketing, or related field
  • Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English
  • Ability to manage projects independently and lead cross-functional teams
  • Comfortable translating customer needs into technical requirements for production
  • Experience in naval architecture, foil design, or CFD
  • Understanding of ply book development and composite design
  • Project management certification is a plus
  • Detail-oriented and research-driven mindset

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Follow up, support and review all of engineering documentation standard for new model (Technical feasibility/ E-Bom/ Specification/ ECR/ECN).
  • Communication to customer, in term of technical phase.
  • Review and Ensure release document before start production.
  • Follow up and make for new material testing.
  • Follow up and support for equipment in production line.
  • Analysis on production quality issue and quality problem solving.
  • Perform all tasks and project as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering or related.
  • Age not over 40 years old.
  • Good written and verbal communication English skills.
  • Good basic computer MS Office, Auto Cad, Etc.
  • Skill related to the production line.
  • Good cause analysis and problem solving skill.
  • Leadership, good learning skills, interpersonal skills, cooperation.
  • Good relationship and good attitude.
  • A keen eye for detail.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintaining process system standards in all areas.
  • Validation process and parts (new model) before SOP.
  • Ensure employees are follow process and standardize.
  • Ensure employees are properly trained.
  • Communicate in production project and quality status updates.
  • Address in efficiencies immediately.
  • Run at rate new parts or new process.
  • Assist with on-the-job training for employees.
  • Process flow chart, FMEA and support process improvement document.
  • Process improvement, and solving issue.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience in Process Engineer for 3 years and above.
  • Experience in Production Line will be advantage.
  • Understand in Quality System ISO 9001, TS16949, Lean manufacturing, etc.
  • Able to use computer and standard program for PE.
  • Practical experience using CAD and AutoCAD software.
  • Must be able to have English skill.
  • A portfolio of previous work may be advantageous.
  • The ability to work independently and to collaborate with others.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills.
  • Leadership skills.
  • The ability to work long hours.
  • The ability to complete projects on time and to specification

SCOPE:

  • New products, Engineering Change and First period of mass production

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage new projects to meet customer’s timeline and requirements
  • Implement and control ECN/ECR/Deviation
  • Control and record project expenses
  • Monitor and follow up project status, quality issue, price issue, material readiness, etc.
  • Lead meeting with customer and internal team in a timely manner
  • Monthly report preparation and project progress presentation

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
  • 2 years experiences in project management or new product introduction
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Able to understand technical specifications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication English skills.
  • Strong leadership, good attitude, problem solving and analytical skill.
  • Good interpersonal skills, and high skills in communication.
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Have the ability to analyze and plan.
